Deleting your data from the dashboard

The fastest way to remove a business's Instagram data is to disconnect the account:

1. Sign in to Snug AI and open Instagram accounts.
2. Select the delete icon next to the account you want to remove.
3. The account is removed immediately. The access token we stored for it is deleted along with its conversations and messages, so we can no longer reach the account.

Deleting your data from Instagram

Deleting our copy stops us using the token, but only Instagram can invalidate it at their end, so revoke the app's access there as well. On Instagram, go to Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites, then remove Snug AI. Instagram will send us a data deletion request automatically, and we will delete the data associated with that account and return a confirmation code you can use to check the status of the request.

Requesting deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email mason@oprova.ai from the address associated with the account, or include the Instagram username concerned. We will confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• The stored Instagram access token for the account.
• The connected Instagram account profile record.
• All conversations and messages belonging to that account.
• The stored raw webhook payloads for those messages.

Records we are required to retain for legal or accounting reasons are kept only for as long as the law requires, and are then deleted.
